The financier purchased a more modest island - Little St James - back in the late 1990s, but later purchased the larger Great St James in 2016 for around $22.5 million.
The released images reveal he had formulated development schemes to develop the substantial island by erecting living quarters, an open-air theater, an office beneath the waves and a pool.
Visible on the blueprint is Pillsbury Sound, a strait in the US Virgin Islands, indicated on the lower right-hand corner.
This development map is covered in handwritten red notes and includes a legend detailing different parts of the property.
Accompanying this are what appear to be an additional nine construction diagrams and architectural plans, such as plans for dock shelters.
