Across the gaming landscape, fans keep sounding the knell for the green team. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites began covering on PS5 topics for the first time. 2025 was a period of total upheaval for Xbox and Microsoft. However, judging purely by the titles headed to the service in 2026, it becomes clear that Microsoft still intends to draw people in with strong games on its flagship service.
The Available Now Titles
The duo of games currently accessible today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass soon that's worth getting excited about.
Upcoming Headline Games
Starting January 13th, Game Pass will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that refreshes conventional open-world tropes with an intergalactic heist adventure. Another big get is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "a superb mixture of frights and fights."
Noteworthy Smaller Games

A Well-Rounded Collection
In summary, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, nor are they first-party juggernauts that are the sole reason for the service alone. However, this batch of games are very dependable. It offers a healthy blend of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that didn't get the attention they were due initially — transforming them into perfect candidates to get a second chance on Game Pass.
