In the 1950s it was restrained via weakening – Protestant Christianity was so dominant that it essentially baptized the status quo.
A Struggle for the Best Within Us
So I have been heartened to observe the persistent defiance against Trump develop over the last twelve months. It has served as great solace to assist in constructing the movement that has taken to the streets via continuous gatherings, and seems to have inspired voters to participate in numbers in the off-year elections. We will need to maintain it, and through comparable resolve, featuring US banners during all protests and calls to the highest qualities within national heritage.
